Starting this powder coating business has been one of the most exciting and fulfilling journeys of my life. What began as a strong interest in coating my personal parts has grown into a true passion and now, a business built on quality, craftsmanship, and pride in every single piece that leaves my shop.
I am professionally trained and certified by Columbia Coatings, a well-known and respected company based in Tennessee. I now own and operate Spoolin Powders in Durango Colorado. Being trained by an industry leader gave me hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and a deep understanding of the science behind powder coating from proper surface preparation and media blasting to coating application and curing techniques. This certification isn’t just a title; it represents hours of professional instruction and a commitment to doing things the right way.
